Culinary Futures Application Terms
By submitting this application to the SAFG Culinary Futures Grant Program (“Program”), I acknowledge and agree to the following:
- Accuracy of Information
I certify that all information provided in this application is true, accurate, and complete to the best of my knowledge. I understand that any false, misleading, or incomplete information may result in disqualification or revocation of any award granted.
- Eligibility Confirmation
I confirm that:
• I am opening my first brick-and-mortar restaurant between January 1, 2026 and December 31, 2026.
• My restaurant concept meaningfully incorporates Asian ingredients.
• My restaurant will operate within SAFG’s primary delivery routes.
• I am legally eligible to operate a food business in my jurisdiction.
I understand that SAFG has sole discretion in determining eligibility.
- Selection & Award Discretion
I understand that:
• Submission of an application does not guarantee selection.
• SAFG reserves the sole and absolute discretion to select recipients.
• SAFG may choose to award fewer grants than anticipated or decline to award any grants.
• SAFG may award less than the maximum stated grant amount.
All decisions made by SAFG are final.
- Grant Structure
If selected, I understand that:
• The grant consists of up to $5,000 in SAFG ingredients and supplies.
• The award will be issued in the form of $100 credits per order until the approved grant amount is exhausted.
• The grant has no cash value and is non-transferable.
• Credits may only be used for eligible SAFG purchases during the approved grant period.
- Participation Requirements
If selected, I agree to:
• Participate in four (4) collaborative video shoots at mutually agreed-upon times.
• Allow SAFG to use my name, likeness, restaurant name, photos, videos, and related materials for marketing and promotional purposes without additional compensation.
• Maintain active purchasing status with SAFG during the grant period.
- Right to Modify, Withhold, or Terminate
I acknowledge that SAFG reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to reduce, suspend, withhold, or terminate the grant at any time, including but not limited to if:
• I fail to open in 2026.
• My restaurant concept materially changes from the approved application.
• I cease operations.
• I fail to meet participation or purchasing requirements.
• I engage in conduct that may negatively impact SAFG’s brand or reputation.
• I violate any applicable laws.
• I provided false or misleading information in my application.
I understand that SAFG may modify or discontinue the Program at any time without liability.
- No Partnership or Employment Relationship
I acknowledge that participation in this Program does not create a partnership, joint venture, agency, or employment relationship between myself and SAFG.
- Agreement to Terms
By submitting this application, I confirm that I have read, understand, and agree to these terms and conditions.
